What are the things you want to do, believe you can do and plan to do but you don’t do due to the possibility of failure or judgement from others?
It’s a big question, isn’t it?
It mainly comes down to this big emotion: fear.
Fear of failure, fear of judgement, fear of hard work, fear of commitment. The list could go on and on.
But, fear is a horrible place to live for the rest of your life, it’s restricting and gets in the way of you living your dream life.
So, this is where you need to stop thinking and just do it, whatever it is, don’t think about the ‘what-ifs’, don’t think about those around you, don’t think about the implications… if it feels right in your heart then you have to go for it.
Feeling uncomfortable is something you can feel comfortable with (until it feels too comfortable again and you need to step up, reach higher).
You’ll get used to the challenges you set yourself and notice a difference in your self-belief. Hopefully the thought process will become: “yes, this is going to be hard but I know I can do it, I can do it, I’ve just got to believe it and just do it!”.
Small steps, visualisation, belief, positivity, good people surrounding you are crucial components to you stepping out of your comfort zone and earning that life that was once merely a dream.
Let’s finish with some thought provoking questions:
What will happen if I stay too comfortable with my life now?
What will I miss out on?
What is stopping me from taking that risk and being bold?
What would make it easier?
Am I surrounded by the right, supportive people?
How can I change this if not?
Do I want to stay in the same place forever?
When will I take the leap?
How will I feel when I reach that ultimate goal?
Am I thinking with my heart and letting that lead?
What is the first step I’m going to take right now?
Good luck with what you discover and what you do with that valuable information!
