Learning in Lockdown

Posted on

It is fair to say this time has come with challenges for every single person and business but there have been opportunities for many too, more time to learn and self-develop, for example.

Perhaps before lockdown, you were feeling burnt out, not enjoying your job and wanting to make changes.

Maybe you’ve taken on a hobby that before you didn’t have time to even think about.

It could be that some of you have left you job to pursuit a dream or a less stressful lifestyle.

And of course it’s absolutely fine if there has been no changes in your life, in terms of your outlook.

But, if you’re feeling a bit bored and want a new challenge to learn something new, this email will hopefully encourage you to take the step now!

Because we’ve discovered a few websites that offer FREE online courses to learn anything you choose.

For instance, I (Sophie, Marketing Assistant) have taken on a Digital Marketing Course with Google Digital Garage and a Nutrition course over the course of the next 8 weeks, something I’ve always been curious about but previously never acted on. Kiki has been working on a writing course and NLP training and Eleni (Operations Business Manager) has been focused on habits and automation.

I’m amazed at how much I have learnt already, and at how it is free with a certificate and badge on completion!

What have you always been curious about that you’ve never taken the time to learn before?
